Synopsis of activities of Gurgaon Branch.

Study Circle. The purpose of the Study Circle is to help us grow in consciousness in the light of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother, so as to make our life more beautiful and perfect. This is achieved by reading a little at a time from the works of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother collectively, and by then putting into practice what one has read. The Study Circle is presently meeting on specified Sundays from 11:00 to 12:00 hours to study "The Synthesis of Yoga", a major work of Sri Aurobindo.

Classes on the Message of Gita. These are held by Shri Prashant Khanna of Sri Aurobindo Ashram-Delhi Branch, on all Saturdays, from 1100-1200 hours (Summer) and 1130 to 1230 hours (Winter).

Sanskar Kendra. It has been established with a view to acquaint children in a certain age group with our ancient culture, ethos and values through story-telling, game and educational aids. Presently one session of one hour duration is being held on Saturday from 2 to 3 pm.

Sadhana Through Work. Meditation and its significance is perceived differently by majority of men. Thus, there are different types of meditation. Meditation is one of ways to seek the Divine but it is not the end in all. To be in remembrance of the Divine always and at all times is real meditation. Working for the Divine is the best form of meditation and whatever we do either at home or in the office or anywhere else, it should be performed with a sense of offering to the Divine. We aspire to realize the Truth through our working at Gurgaon Branch.
